Howdy. I'm looking to purchase what will be my first Wagner in the not too distant future, and am wondering which of his cards I can realistically hope to find in decent condition, and at a relatively affordable price. I seem to remember a post a little while back for a Polo Grounds Game card (PSA 6 or 7, I think) of Honus for $500. Any other issues I should look into? |

1940 Playball is affordable, unless you want one from when he was playing. |

Prefer playing days. Sorry, I left that out of my original post. |

and it's still pre-war - you can find graded examples on Ebay for WAY less than 500 - that's the Wagner I've been eyeballing - I have a Honus Autograph and want a card to go along with it and this issue seems to be the most affordable - granted he's older in the picture than in his playing days, but still a great card - |

E91 would probably be one of the most affordable, if you don't mind the looks of the cards in the set. |

You could definitely grab a Colgan's Wagner in up to VG condition for under $500. |

Decent Photo and would look good mounted with an autograph. If I wanted a older card -- I'd probably look at the 40 Play Ball --- not from playing career -- but certainly pre-war and easy enough to locate |

I think the best affordable Wagner from his playing days is a Colgan's Chip. Great image & a popular set that is affordable by comparison. |
