Who saw this? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=160291539677&ssPageName=STRK:MEDW:IT&ih=006 What is it, a new series? Different year than series 14, plus not in the checklist. Regardless, nice card/box! |

Great box, someone got a good buy. This is an uncataloged and very scarce series of small panels issued in 1936.These are not from series 14 (1937) or series 15 (1938) as some have suggested. Card design and player poses are similar to the larger size series 4 (figures in border) set. I know the following players have been found in this rare series:Gehrig,Gehringer, Grove,Medwick and Ott. I have a Gehrig and Medwick in my Wheaties collection. I might let the Medwick go for the right offer, trades are fine. |
