PSA plastic "elbow" in holder

Sorry I don't have a scan of this, but is anyone familiar with the PSA practice of putting a plastic "elbow" on a corner of a card to keep it in place? I had a T206 that was graded 10+ years ago, and it has this plastic elbow on it. The card itself is small... quite small for a T206. Though I read on this site that there's a natural variation in sizes on the T206's?

Any info on this would be great...

You sure it wasn't GAI?
Never saw PSA use a plastic insert to support a card.
But I have seen GAI use foam peanuts on a Red Man pack
and here's a bunch of plastic supporting my Salada coin strip.

No coins are missing, the Joe Cunningham has the back facing us.
Its a black coin so it appears to be missing but its there.

jay i rechecked the date but it's not april 1st anymore...that holder is unreal! looks like a bunch of 2nd graders put it together.

Quan - the funny thing to me is that I had it displayed w/ my Junket unopened box from '62 advertising a coin inside the box.
I put the strip in a .15 cent 1 pocket sheet, then folded it in half.
So the strip was now rigid and protected...and it looked great.
But no, I had to spend $25 or $30 on this eyesore. Its jammed in a box
somewhere, but I refuse to cut it open as a reminder that not all items
should be encapsulated.
