When I was a kid we had a different slogan for LS/MFT! I'm sure some of you know it!

What a disgusting commercial. I especially liked the part at the beginning when the guy unwraps the pack and throws his garbage on the ground.

Fred- the one I remember is Loose Suspenders Mean Falling Trousers. But I'll guess there were others. The woman's voice on the commercial was so soothing it made me want to light one up. |

| Cool web site

http://www.archive.org/details/ClassicT1948 Check out the Pee Wee Reese commercial around the 4 minute mark. Includes a youthful Don Zimmer. Also after watching the second commercial for band aids I now know what taking acid at a playground would be like. |

These commercials seem crazy today but I recall in the 60s it was no big deal to see Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble as spokesmen for Winstons. http://www.archive.org/details/Winst...TheFlintstones Last edited by bigtrain; 05-18-2010 at 01:48 PM. |

Both Andy Griffith and James Arness(marshall Dillon) did commercials for Cigarettes on their respective shows. Some of the DVD sets contain them as extras.

Though Jeff's alluded to it already, I too noticed the guy thoughtlessly throwing the top of the package of the floor, at .10. More classy behavior from a tobacco company. As a Brooklyn Dodger fan, did enjoy that aspect of the commercial, though. |
