Nothing like a good 6+ year bump on an old thread, right??
So, any time I have seen the Frank Home Run Baker cards with the Fenway Breweries overprint in the past, it has had the Tom Barker back. As those have said in this thread from a while ago, it was believed the Baker card with the Fenway overprint was a variant of the Tom Barker set. However, I just picked up the pictured Baker card here, with the Fenway Breweries overprint on the front, but it has a National Game back instead of the Tom Barker back. Are there other copies of this card known with the National Game back instead of the Tom Barker back? What does this mean as to the theories of this card, if the Fenway overprint exists on either the Tom Barker or the National Game backs? Thanks, Scott |
