| Jackie Robinson Store Model Bat

I wasn't sure where to post this, so I figured I couldn't go wrong in this section. At work, we have a bulletin board where people post things for sale or trade. Today, I was looking on the BB and there was a Jackie Robinson store model bat for sale. I emailed the seller and told him that I would take it if it were still available. He said it was and I met him in the lobby for the transaction. I don't know anything about these and was wondering if I could get any information about it? Value? It's approx 35" long, the knob is 2-1/8" diameter and the barrel is 2-1/2" diameter. JR5 etched into the knob of the bat. The black ink has started to fade, but it says, "Louisville Slugger 125 Hillerich & Bradsby Co" on the barrel. Can anybody give me an idea of what it might be worth? I paid $40 for it. |
