In the latest Goodwin auction a copy of the McQuaid umpire card sold for over $17,000. While certainly a strong price, it reflects the rarity of finding an image of McQuaid. What some collectors don't realize is that McQuaid is also pictured in a two player card, accompanied by the identified McGarr, in the Old Judge set. This card, although not common, can be had for a fraction of the cost of the individual McQuaid card. I have provided an image from the past REA auction where one Old Judge lot had just this card.
