When I was working aggressively on the 1938 Goudey set, the card #271 Joe Vosmik was nearly impossible to find without a tilt. Most were very pronounced, but it seemed like the card was nearly impossible to find without even a slight tilt.
Some examples: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I've never examined a second series uncut sheet, but the only thing I could think of was that maybe the card was actually tilted on the sheet or something. Nearly every example I've ever seen has this tilt, even if its ever-so-slight. -Al |
