Howard I did that w/ my kid during a National visit 7-8 years ago.
I didn't mind climbing down, but once I was in the sub, i thought it would be a tough climb getting out. Which it wasn't but it made me think about it. And it was very cool and my boy's highlight of the trip which incl the R&R HOF, a Indians/White Sox game & the National.
