You should be able to find an N28 Anson in a 1 - 1.5 type of grade for $1K or under. Or the Buchner N284 Gold Coin (Anson has 2 poses) would be under $1K for good condition.
As a newbie to 19th century, it'd be worth a short-term subscription to VCP to see actual sales prices on various cards from the era, so you can learn what to expect to pay. You'll save a heck of a lot more than the few bucks it costs for VCP access, if you know what to pay for purchases! |
