Gruber
I met Gruber once at Fenway before the game and gave him about 150 of his 1989 Upper Deck Cards that I specifically brought to give to him since my wife LOVED the Gruber! He then said, "I'll sign anything you have!", we had about 5 or 6 oddball items like a Blue Jays hat and his rookie card etc..... Those 2 cent 1989 cards turned out to be a good investment since he warmed up to us and my wife was in heaven!
I'll bet I could have gotten a 1990 Leaf signed that day BUT of course I did not have one on me unfortunately. I wonder why he does not sign that card? Mike PS On the other hand, Will Clark is and was one of the BIGGEST jerks of all time. I'd rip his card in half If I had ever kept one!
