Sorry to dig up an old thread, but Dto7 nailed the ID on the picture. Indeed it is Robert Schroeder.
I happened to find that the BB HOF acquired some movie footage that Jimmy Foxx apparently took during the trip. I can be viewed here: http://baseballhall.org/discover/193...tage-uncovered At 1:42 there is a shot of the four men in my photo with IDs.
