I am mostly a post war collector and have been collecting since 1957. My main focus has been Topps and Fleer. I have the Topps sets, 1948 and 1951 to 2015, and Fleer 1923 (work in progress), and 1959 to 2007.
I was born in 1950 and never had personal interaction with the Bowman sets when they were active, and for a long time did not consider putting them together. Fritsch was selling reprints of those sets for 48 through 52 ( not sure if reprints for 53 to 55 exist or not), and I bought them just to become familiar with them some. Since then I have put together the Bowman run, 48 to 55. But I still have the reprints. I would give them away if I knew someone who just wanted them as reprint sets Last edited by ALR-bishop; 09-17-2015 at 08:38 AM. |
