Was wondering if someone might post a few pics of notching or chipping that would prevent a card from being graded any higher than a 6.5. It looks to me like if an edge is rough at all, it can't be graded a NM (7) or higher.
Is that true? Also, are there any great books or URL addresses that would illustrate not only the descriptions of negatives for sports cards but also pictures of them. I also attached a few pics of a card that is of interest to me. Is this a card that has a rough edge that is normal since it occurred during the original cutting process at the Topps company. Thus, this edge wouldn't be a negative for the grade because of the reason stated above or is this chipping or is this notching? Any help would be much appreciated!!!
