1910 Cliff Blankenship...Something "Unusual"
Thrilled to have picked up this nice Cliff Blankenship 1910 Obak via Sterling Sports Auctions from the Paul Pollard Collection.
I have always liked this card but hadn't picked it up until I could confirm that he actually was a catcher in addition to one of the managers for Tacoma. Thanks to feedback from several board members that confirmed via newspaper accounts that Cliff did in fact catch for the Tacoma team in 1909-1910.
