Vicarious enjoyment of 1952 Berk Ross
So many sets of the early 50s seem to be missing critical players. Meanwhile, 1952 Berk Ross has Mantle, Mays, Williams, DiMaggio, Robinson, Musial, etc.
I'd never really seen most of these until browsing the National. Reading up a bit, I see the set was perhaps unlicensed, and some poor images such as the washed out Mantle detract. However, the incredible lineup of players and its relative affordability make it a fun set to think about going after someday. Am curious if anyone here has completed it.
