This is what I believe to be a 1902 Philadelphia Athletics Proof or composite used to make the larger paper composite. It is an actual photograph measuring 7" x 9" attached to a larger mount with the players all notated on the back. This was probably blown up with the names and other text added, however the center is different and Connie Mack has been cropped, but also appears a bit smaller.
It is the only one I have ever seen like it. Obviously several HOFers and importantly Louis Castro. |
