What fun to see all the Cincinnati material! Here are a few pieces. There's Joe Morgan's visa application for the Reds' trip to Japan. Kind of an odd piece.
Then there's a letter from Bob Howsam the architect of the Big Red Machine. Howsam congratulates Warren Spahn on getting inducted into the Hall of Fame. The third piece is a letter from then-Reds GM Warren Giles to Bucky Walters about his 1943 contract. About three years ago I finally made a website for my collection. The links there for the players direct to their pages on the site. If you have a favorite guy he's probably got a page too. It was really neat to see everyone's Reds' related material. Thanks for posting. |
