Otis - congrats on the Ryan and completing the set. Tough issue. I was able to finish it in regular and blank backs, although my blank backs are a mix of the two types. I guess technically it could be finished 3 ways. I also have about 1/2 the set in red backs, no green ink. Doubt I can finish it that way. Might have involved only one sheet. Also have a few swirled backs.
The 80 Coins, 82 Blackless, 84 Encased, 85 Minis, 88 Cloth and 89 Big Head Suckers and Double Header Yankee/Mets proofs and prototypes were the toughest Topps issues of the 80s to complete in my experience. |
