The 1938 Goudeys are definitely cards that have grown on me over the years. I still can't decide which ones I like the best...the ones without cartoons, which I think is the nicer, cleaner design, or the ones with the cartoons, because they add an extra fun element and some interesting facts (I like the happy 3rd Base on the Werber, and I never knew Joe Medwick was so fond of Ping-Pong). And lower condition cards just look natural in this set.
I like the look of all 24 players except Radcliffe and DiMaggio. Something about the faces on those two just do not look appealing to me.
