Last week I booked Wednesday and Thursday nights at the Hyatt. I will drive up from Indy on Wednesday morning - that should give me Wednesday's sneak peak, all day Thursday and as much of Friday as I want. That's probably enough for me. I can always get a Friday night room somewhere if I want.
I like parking in the Hyatt garage that's connected to the convention center - its a long walk but I enjoy being able to go back to my room or back to my car when I want to. My reservation has a 24 hour cancellation policy - which I like.
