I'm not a pin collector, per se.
However, I have a couple of pins that I wanted to display on a book shelf. I don't know if I invented this method, but I'm very happy with the results. I went to Home Depot and spent 65 cents on copper wire. It is both flexible and sturdy. I got home and cut it to size and then bent it into shape. See the fruits of my labor:
