A friend of mine went to the last show and it was a LOT of modern, but he was ok with that because that is what he collects.
The last show I went to in So Cal was the Front Row show in Pasadena. It was a lot of Pokemon, modern, ultramodern with a bit of vintage. There were a few vintage only dealers, with some really nice cards, even some scarcer pre-war, but the prices were a tad high.
