Two reasons for me are:
1. Some items are true artwork 2. How the heck did this survive!?!?! This example I just got in the mail and made a makeshift frame for is a prime example. The detail is amazing in what you can easily see, but holding this up to light you can see even more in the white almost clear parts. It is ripped yes, but only on the borders of this silk masterpiece.
