Yankee Stadium postcard with a postmark of October 18th 1937 Birmingham Alabama. Interesting typed message about the purchase of five dresses charged to Mothaw (Women's Auxiliary ?).
Q: This postcard is postmarked 10/18/37, what happened just a week earlier in the pictured Yankee Stadium? A: The Yankees captured their sixth World Series Championship 10/10/37 in five games VS the New York Giants. PayPal friends/family. Shipping is $1 in a plain white envelope. In the event the envelope is lost in the mail, I’ll refund 1/2 the purchase amount to the buyer. This just seems fair to me. I can guarantee I will drop the envelope in the mail. Rather than mail a plain white envelope at buyers risk, we can share the risk. I combine shipping. ![]()
