The guy had 755 items listed when I just looked. If you sort descending by highest price, he has 3 expensive items listed. The two Mantles and a fancy hockey card. On the rest of the 752 cards the highest priced BIN is 20 cents and most of them are 1 cent BIN's. My guess is the Mantles and hockey card are listed to draw people into the BIN thing he's doing. An auction may run and then get cancelled and relisted, or a big card is listed with a BIN not likley to get hit to draw people into viewing his other BIN things. He may very well have access to the card but somebody would have to hit the BIN to find out. One cent BIN listings are an unusual way of conducting business. So if you do the BIN or do a deal off-line make sure you have complete control over the safety of your money. |
