This was a good miss on your part Carlton. While I don't collect other sports, I have a tremendous appreciation for pieces that depict them. The weight lifter is waaaaaay beyond the bowling piece. Bowling is sort of a fringe sport (IMO) that wouldn't impact your collection to the extent a more "athletic" piece might. Where are the inkwells on this piece? I assume you would simply place crystal wells on that base?
Steve is right. Any sport that a 600 lb guy who smokes three packs a day can play wearing overalls and a Metallica concert shirt isn't Carlton worthy. Last edited by mjkm90; 04-25-2010 at 05:39 AM.
