Hi Scott,
Date of production is 1915. The strange thing is that there is a PM1 Ruth checklisted and I'm not sure why they would have included him at the beginning of his career. I have seen a copy of the Ruth pin and it definitely is his stance, facial resemblance not so much. The photo is definitely similar to other PM1 photos, so either the pin was probably produced slightly later than or possibly a fantasy piece. Mike
