Jeremy, I didn't know that, but now I'm looking forward to the book.
A fellow who's dad played in the minors with Hub took me down to Tennessee to meet Hub's son a few years ago. The two of them told me several stories, showed me some stuff... 2/3rds of a letter from FDR on Gov of NY letterhead thanking Hub for his help prior to FDR's 1st Presidential election and a backstamped Conlon photo of Hub with Evers while both were at Boston. It was a memorable day for me. I hope to get a copy of that book. Please tell me more about that as time approaches. Does he need scans of cards? I have an example of most of Hub's cards...
