Congrats on the Mantle card, must be a bittersweet feeling to be nearing the completion. One of my indelible childhood memories is coming out of a mom-and-pop in the spring of 1953 with my eight-year-old buddy, and watching him open the first pack of Bowman cards that year. We were so blown away by the fantastic color photos, I knocked the cards into a patch of dandelions trying to grab them from his hands. They were by far the biggest items in the playgrounds that year - still can't figure how Bowman went broke from producing them.
