The '33 Goudey's represented my return to baseball card collecting after a 25 year hiatus. I used to collect cards as a kid in the early to mid 70's, but was met with a mother that "couldn't remember where she put my cards" when questioned about returning the cards of my youth to me as a 38 year old. That is when I turned to vintage and began my foray with the '33 Goudeys, a set which seemed "completable" and I loved their appearance.
It took me 2 1/2 to 3 years, but was able to complete the set..... http://www.psacard.com/PSASETREGISTR...et.aspx?s=1298 including this modestly graded Lajoie. |
