Default I don't get the card companies thinking. What a waste

I saw this on Ebay and it just baffles me the crap these card companies do to destroy items. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2012-Leaf-Sp...#ht_776wt_1124 Even though it isn't a high priced item and just a Perez Steele card I don't see the thrill in owning it. No desrespect to the guy selling it but it's a 35.00-50.00 at the most when it isn't cut up so why would you buy one cut up when you can own a perfect one for less than the price listed. I know it has been talked about before and I have seen examples others have posted but why the card companies think this is a cool item to sell amasses me. What even more amasses me is the idiots that buy this stuff.
