Cy Young and Joe Casey - E92-ish
Hello all, new to the forum with a question about a couple of cards from a collection I recently took on consignment. I have been able to identify the rest of the collection (baseball and other tobacco, caramel and strip cards from the early 1900s). But these two cards, though they use the recto images from the E92 set, have blank backs and are on fairly heavy cardboard stock. They don't *seem* to have been mounted, but I am not absolutely sure.
Condition, as you can see, is not good, with quite a bit of smudging to the Young in particular. Can anyone tell me where these might have come from? I haven't been able to find any references to these images with blank versos. David Prendergast Stick Figure Books Lake Barrington, IL
