Hard to tell from behind whether the batter is Ruth or not. We think of Ruth as being heavier but in 1920 he was pretty svelte. Still the guy looks thin to me. Interestingly, if it is from 1920, there were very few left handed batters on the Yankees. I think Ruth and Wally Pipp were the only regulars who hit from the left side.
