 ...unopened and clean......thankfully it had been stored very well since it was new ..... I was thinking : the kid had fifteen cents ...and he could have bought THREE nickle PACKS of 1952 Topps.... but instead he bought this ---one 1952 "Star Cal Decals" of Willie Mays. Now that's a true fan...we all had our heroes I guess.... ..I don't remember which year but Mr. Mays once had twenty stolen bases, 20 doubles , 20 triples , and 20 roundtrips by the end of the regular season.... and those numbers held up all the way until 2007 , when Curt Granderson of my Tigers also put up those identical stats. Neat. ..
