That is a great story! I've been collecting almost 30 years and have always hoped I could come across something like that. However, none of my family was really into sports, I was the first one.
I have the Kenny Washington, but it's really low grade and I'm sure you can do better! Good luck with this and I hope that you keep posting as you acquire the ones you need. I'm relatively new to the boards but I have fallen in love with vintage again and love seeing cards and reading stories. When I lived in Pittsburgh, I had probably 60% of the 1955 All American set but when I moved to Indianapolis, I needed some money to I sold it off. -kin
