I wanted to speak to an eBay rep regarding my account tonight. I was given the phone number and a "one-time passcode" via their website. I called the number and after getting past the voice automated "bot", I was placed on hold. While on hold, I was forced to listen to awful music with periodic interruptions of "Please hold on. Your call is very important to us. A representative will be with you shortly." After 35 minutes of this torture without ever speaking to a human being, I finally hung up.

I called back the same number, only this time I didn't enter my "one-time passcode". I got the same automated "bot", and was again placed on hold with the same awful music. After 8 more minutes of this nonsence, I hung up. Total waste of my time tonight: 43 minutes. Ridiculous!!! Is this unusual or normal for eBay?
