1956 Topps Baseball Set Break - Now with Random Discounts from Price List Posted

Like a card, but don't like the price. Would you then be interested in a 5% discount, a 10% discount, a 15% discount or a 20% discount?

Here's the deal. If you want a card or cards, let me know. You will not pick the discount, nor will I. I will generate a random number (1, 2, 3 or 4) corresponding to the above discounts (1=5%, 2=10%, 3=15%, 4= 20%. I roll the dice and that's your price. You are not committed to buy. You will not get a second try.

If you submit a list of cards, they will be randomized individually, but I will only give you the total for the list. The longer the list the closer the discount will be to 12.5%, but i cannot allow you to cherry pick the 20% only, so individually card prices will be withheld. I think that is fair.

If you want multiple cards, I would prefer that you submit a list. If you go one at a time, I would ask for an up or down vote on the price before moving on to the second card. Thanks.



If you are looking for decent 1956 Topps baseball cards, you have come to the right thread. I recently sold a portion of my EXMT set and have decided to part with the rest. Roughly 100 cards are graded including most of the stars and those cards have an average grade of 6.15. The ungraded cards are quite uniform. Only a few have serious centering issues. Corners are decent and creases are not present. You will not find ultra high grade sleepers in the ungraded cards. I have a priced each card individually, and will give you a price in a timely manner when you tell me which cards you are looking for. The larger the lot the better the deal, so the individual prices are just a starting point for me. Please note that I have chosen to crop the slabs and flips out of the scans, so that you can see more of the card, front and back. All the graded cards are noted though with the TPG and grade on the collector focus pages. If you want a slab scan or cert number, just let me know. I expect this to take several months, as I am not in hurry to do this. In fact, I will be traveling for the better part of the month of September, and will not have the cards with me. Cards will be sold and mailed until August 29th when the hiatus begins. The sale will resume upon my return, which will be announced when I know.

Below are a few scans to give you an idea of the quality of the set. I understand that pricing is preferred in BST listings, but if you are interested in ten, twenty or thirty cards, the price list would not give you an accurate idea of what my asking price for the lot will be. The price list I have is more of a working guide for me. Hopefully larger lots will be sought, so I will not have to mail 300+ cards individually.

Cards that have been sold are labelled as such on the Collector Focus sight. As the set gets whittled down, I will post a list in this thread of the remaining cards. At this point 47 cards have been sold.
