This ticket is listed as 1915 (was listed with other items from 1915). If it is from 1915, game 71 was scheduled for 09/25 against the Cleveland Indians. Game 2 was a makeup game.
1915 seems reasonable, but at this point, from what I know, it could be from 1915 to 1919. - Jacob Ruppert purchased the franchise in January 1915 - Cost of ticket $0.75 and no war tax, so must be from before 1920 - Printer: Ansell Ticket Co. Would love to see other Yankee Polo Grounds tickets. |
