Bear in mind that as much as people love to fawn over PSA and how wonderful they are, that their standards have not been consistent over time. If anything the consensus seems to be that they are tougher now than they were in the past. Look at a PSA 5 that was graded recently vs. one that was graded 15 years ago. There was a lot more leniency earlier. Don't get me wrong, I think PSA on the whole probably is the most respected TPG and with good reason. But just like anything else in life, they aren't perfect.
