Strong memories of Xmas as a kid, the connection between Xmas shifting from being about my presents to being a truly special holiday, this ball bridged that gap. My grandfather passed away ten years later, so it’s really all linked to him.
I’ve had people try to buy it over the years, the only reason I wouldn’t sell it was because I knew they were going to try and make money. If I knew it was a big Cardinals fan and knew it was to give to his son or grandson, I would sell it no problem, just rare to ever actually know that. |
