I'm guessing it's a brothel token. You purchased it at the door and it entitled you to pick out the lady of your choice.
It's not unusual to find large cents where the "One Cent" on the reverse was reengraved to read "One C-nt", with a "u" in place of the "e". Those were used exclusively in brothels. You can find them being sold on ebay pretty regularly. |
