it looks fine to me. i have owned 4-5 of these over the years, and all but one had dark printing like yours. to me that is not a red flag especially when the other aspects of the piece all check out. aside from a bit of wrinkling on yours likely because of the dried leather, it looks to be in great shape. if the leather were worn and scuffed then you wouldn�t expect the printing to be bold. but your leather appears in fine shape.
