1951 Bowman Crossover Grading Question

I have a 51 Bowman Tom Landry in a SGC 88 Grade 8. I am trying to build the set on the PSA Registry. My question is would the SGC crossover to a PSA 8 or higher? Who grades older football harder? Thanks for any insight!
