Seeing that pic strikes such a chord, because my '55 Bowman Mantle is very similar and also got a PSA 3. These cards seem clearly better than that (assuming yours has no wrinkles too). PSA appears to often do the same thing with '71 Topps too. Way too brutal on minor damage to mid-grade dark border cards.
