I agree but that is where holding the card and feeling it for thickness comes into play, thickness, feel, vintage stock, smell etc.... you know what I mean hopefully? After years of handling rare cards and some not so rare , you get a feel for these things.
I think the paper loss are layers you are seeing and some staining here and there front and back. The 4 in one troubles me a bit which of course then casts a bit of doubt on the 1933 Ruth. I still like the 1933 albeit , I'd need to feel it. Peace, Mike PS I'm a feeler not a healer!
