Usually, this type of scotch tape will flake off. Sometimes it's the tape which is badly discolored and even though the tape residue remains, it's a marked improvement.
However, if the tape is partially flaking, and you try to nudge it a bit, it starts to pull the paper. In that case, it will looks worse than before. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
