| Earliest World Series Champion with a living member

Eddie Robinson was the last surviving member of the 1948 Cleveland Indians championship team until his recent passing. I haven't looked it up, but I can't believe there are any surviving players from earlier Champions. Does anybody know the earliest World Series team to still have a surviving player? Given their dominance at the time, I'm guessing it's just a question of the oldest living Yankee... |
