The very first factory set I ever bought, was 1984 Donruss.
I got it in the Baseball Hall of Fame gift shop in Cooperstown. I was 13 and we were headed back from a family trip to Niagara Falls, and we stopped at the HOF on the way home. I think it was like 20 bucks, and I used just about all the money I had left in my pocket from our vacation. Probably only had the money left, because I didn't find any baseball cards in Niagara Falls. Might have had to beg my dad for a couple extra bucks, LOL. I ripped them out of the cellophane, and probably flipped through them so many times, they hardly would have been considered EX/MT by the time the 1985 cards came out.
