Default Card soaking - Advice needed

Picked up this A&G card today…one because it was $2 and also because it had scrapbook glue residue. I want to try my hand at soaking so that I can gain some experience when better cards come around.

Is the A&G card stock more/less difficult to work with then a T206 for example?

Any veteran card soakers have any words of wisdom to get rid of the glue?
